Born in Baghdad, Maythem Ridha has lived and travelled across the Middle East and North Africa and is now based in London. Maythem describes through different case studies how he has shot film and photography projects in different parts of the Middle East and North Africa inspired by the wonderfully textured locations, interesting characters and stunning light. Presenting his work, he will be discussing the methods he uses to shoot in, at times, hostile environments.

Join Maythem Ridha as he shares his experience of shooting film and photography in the Middle East & North Africa. This event coincides with the launch of his new photo book "Beyond Moments: Morocco" and the launch of the Visual Arts group.  Maythem will be exhibiting a selection of photos from his book. Also exhibiting is Hussain Al-Sakafi, Nasser Marhoun and Hassan Al-Jarrah.
